The late Pastor John McClung & wife Sister Francis McClung
Spiritual Parents

Pastor John McClung Sr. watered the seed of GOD, my earthly parents planted. He taught me the word of GOD, until I was strong enough to stand. Founder of Living Word Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor McClung has gone home to be with GOD, but the work he started is continuing on through many who sat under his teachings. Thank you, Pastor McClung, for your love, encouragement, and for being there for me.

Dr. Dan Griffiths (Not pictured)

Dr. Dan Griffiths is truly my spiritual doctor. Life can sometimes throw us a curve ball, and we get hit hard—unexpectedly it takes us out of the game. It is during this time we need intensive care, monitoring, and the unconditional love of GOD. Pastor Dan gave that to me. He nursed me back to spiritual health, watched over me, and guarded my soul with the love of GOD.

Grateful to have him in my life, Pastor Dan was a spiritual father, pastor, and friend.

Minister J.M. Chapman (Myself ministering the gospel)

I thank GOD for HIS calling on my life. It is not my career of choice, yet it burns in my heart to follow GOD, share HIS word, and see HIS people set free. I am sold out to Christ, and I LOVE HIM more than any language or words can describe. May HE always be the lover of my soul.

Pastor Richard Dickerson, PhD
Spiritual Mentor and Dean of Trinity Seminary

Pastor Dickerson is the dean and founder of Trinity Seminary, the school where I am currently attending. His modern-day "no nonsense" approach keeps me focused in my studies and challenged to study to show myself approved unto GOD—a good workman, worthy of the calling.

Thank you, Pastor Dickerson.

A Special Tribute to My Earthly Parents

The late Pastor Dr. Thomas Edison Chapman & Marie P. Chapman
Founder of Avon Avenue Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio

When GOD told you to "train up a child in the way he should go," you took Him at HIS word. You taught me the word of GOD, the stories and parables. You planted the word in my heart, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Amen."

Daddy, the word you spoke was planting a seed of faith, hope, and trust in GOD. It pierced through the sin, hurt, and pain life brought my way. It drew me to the foot of the cross where I surrendered to the will of GOD. It was there I heard Him say: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (Jeremiah 29:11)

I rejoiced in HIS love and I am still rejoicing as I move toward HIS expected end.

The Bible says: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

The word of GOD I sat under, heard, and saw in those GOD sent into my life cut me to the core of my very being and kept me safe from all harms. What satan meant for evil, GOD has turned for HIS good.

This life I live is a journey. I am just a pilgrim, a sojourner, passing through on a Spiritual Journey to do the will of my FATHER.

Each pastor has played a significant role in my growth and walk with GOD.

Thank you, "for it is GOD at work in you, both to will and to work for HIS good pleasure."

I bid you GOD's speed! The legacy continues...
